When an operator signs a wayleave agreement, the processing fee you set is collected automatically. Wayline takes 20% as a platform fee. You receive 80%, deposited directly to your bank via Stripe.

Processing fees are separate from your subscription. The subscription covers platform access. Transaction fees are tied to successful outcomes, so you're never charged unless a wayleave completes.

A single wayleave with a typical £299 processing fee generates enough revenue to cover an entire year's subscription for a small building. For portfolios, the maths is even better: 20 buildings generating an average of 2 wayleaves per year creates £9,500+ in annual processing fee revenue against a £4,990 portfolio subscription.
Operators use Wayline for free
Platform access is completely free for telecoms and infrastructure operators. Search buildings, submit requests, upload RAMS, negotiate terms, and sign agreements. No subscription required. Operators pay only the landlord's processing fee when an agreement is successfully signed.

Annual subscribers on Portfolio and Enterprise tiers get our free onboarding service. Send us your existing wayleave agreements and we'll digitise them, structuring the data, tracking expiry dates, and bringing your entire portfolio onto the platform. No extra charge.
